I loved, loved, loved the New Kids on the Block when I was growing up, so when I heard they were coming back in concert, I had to go. I bought 2 tickets and Kris graciously said he would go with me. I then entered a contest on the radio, and one 4 more tickets ( I think I was the only one that entered, so I had to win). So Kris, again graciously says you should get some of your girls and go with them. (very sweet way of gettin out of it!) So we did. It was so much fun! I never thought I would be pregnant with my 3rd child and screaming as loudly as I did when I was 12 at the New Kids concert. They were better now then they were then, if that's even possible.

My favorite then, was Jordan. But after tonight, Donnie did all "The Right Stuff!"

Oh man! I can't believe you didn't take me. I made my entire cheer squad do a dance to Hangin' Tough in the 8th grade. (I didn't make cheerleader the next year. One of the great tragedies of my life.) I am soooo jealous! Did you know Sabrina went too?
That is hillarious! I was in LOVE with them back in the day too. Sounds like you had a blast and I can't believe you won tickets. I always try to win tickets to concerts on the radio and I NEVER win. Lucky you!

That was SO much fun and will go down as one of the funnest nights of my life. I agree, they were better this time than when they were younger. There was a lot more grabbing of their crotches this time than I remember when i saw them when I was 12. I agree with Lindsey, we should go again together if they ever come back to Utah. Thanks again for inviting me.

Fun! I have a funny story for you about New Kids on the Block. It was a saturday night and Christy Denney and I took the kids to McDonalds to get them tired and wore out, since our hubbies were gone. Suddenly a limo pulls up, yes to McDonalds, and in walk all these trashy looking girls, One of the girls is wearing a New Kids on the Block T-shirt really tight on her HUGE boobs. I thought "what a skank to wear a shirt announcing her new boob job," and then voiced my thoughts to Christy, who graciously told me that it was literal and New Kids on the Block were actually making a come back and were in concert down the street. Am I out of the loop or what?

Wow Barb...that was hillarious! You really are out of the loop! I loved New Kids back in the day and am so jealous that you actually got to see them in concert! I went to their concert when I was in elementary school and some teenage girl behing me was making fun of me for waving my arms in the air! I still remember it this day!
