New Years Eve

For New Years Eve, Grandma Ali and Papa Jim had everyone over for a party. There were a lot of people at their house. We hung out with the Fam, ate Mexican food, played BINGO, listened to the band, and watched the ball drop. Peyton was so excited, because she actually stayed up until after the New Year.

Peyton helping Papa Jim call the numbers for BINGO

Meeting our new cousin

We were so excited to meet our (not so new) cousin, Caden. Caden is our cousin that lives in Michigan. We could not wait for Aunt Anna and Caden to come to Utah. This is the first cousin the kids have on Mom's side of the family. We had so much fun being around him and getting to know him.
He is officially a BYU fan.

Temple Square

One of my favorite traditions, is going to Temple Square. To me, it just sums up the way Christmas should feel. People bundled up and close to family, drinking hot chocolate, seeing the beautiful lights, listening to Christmas carols, watching the nativity, and the feeling you get when you see the Temple lite up at night.
I hope my family will carry this tradition on forever!
I love to see the Temple!
Blake and Trey all bundled up.
Our family at the Temple. Daisy even made the trip!
Going this night was sort of a last minute thing, so we all just grabbed what ever warm clothes were in our cars and headed up.
Making the best memories with our family.
Blake, Peyton and Trey trying to stay warm at the Temple.

Christmas Night

As if we didn't have plenty of presents already. After doing our own Christmas traditions, it was off to Papa TK and Grandma Keet's for Christmas dinner and more presents.  This year we switched up the tradition and had our turkey dinner on Christmas night instead of Christmas Eve. Grandma just can't stand not having the smell of turkey cooking in her house!
Most of all the Utah cousins getting ready for the craziness.
Blake's huge gun that Uncle Kacy and Daddy had more fun playing with.

Peyton loves to play school, and Grandma got her what every teacher needs.

Christmas

I wish every morning felt like Christmas morning. I love the excitement and looks on the kids faces when they peak to see what Santa brought them. This was a special Christmas, because it was our first Christmas in our new house. Santa was very good to us, as always!
Blake, Peyton and Trey getting ready to run down the stairs.

 Christmas morning 2011
Dad opening his cougar pillow pet, that Trey has been talking about all month.
 Opening so carefully!

 Blakey's transformer.
Trey hugging his Angry bird. If Santa only knew that the last minute stocking stuffer would've been the favorite!
Play dough...Dad's absolute favorite thing to clean up!
Blake taking a break with some hot chocolate after all that present opening.

 Blake practicing riding his skateboard.
Peyton's favorite present. A phone she can just play games on and listen to music.
The Candy Monster. We found a very quite Trey, sitting peacefully behind the couch eating everyone's candy.
