Blake's Christmas party and special visitor

Blake's preschool went to the Dollar Store to pick out a gift for their secret friend in their class. Then, they went to a special location where they made their reindeer headbands and a special visitor showed up to see if they were good girls and boys!

I can tie my shoes now!

Peyton is one determined little girl! We got a book on how to tie your shoes, she looked at it for a couple days, then went for it. She now can tie her shoes all by herself, with a double knot. We are so proud of her and how she tries so hard at everything she does!
I bet her teacher is happy too!!

Lights at Temple Square

On Saturday, Dad got some extra tickets to the BYU basketball game that was up in Salt Lake at the Energy Solutions Arena. The kids got to go, and loved being up there with all the excitement. After the game, we met up with the Kilpatrick's to go see the lights at Temple Square. It was so beautiful as always. Going up there always brings the spirit into our Christmas.

Polar Express Train ride

Grandma Keet got some tickets to the special, Polar Express Train ride. It was later this year because that was all the tickets they had available, but the kids loved it. Blake and Trey loved the train ride and pointing out all the fun decorations as we drove by. Peyton really liked going to Santa's Workshop and sitting on Santa's lap.

Peyton's rough week

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Peyton woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. We thought she would be fine to go to school and have her special Thanksgiving feast, but the fever hung on. She was so sad. I went up to the school to help and brought her back all he food the kids made for the feast. She was very thankful, but sad she missed it. That dang fever stuck around for 10 days!

BYU game

Dad got some extra tickets to the last home BYU game, and we all got to go! It was suppose to be freezing and raining, but it was the perfect temperature for a game. The kids loved finding Cosmo and drinking hot chocolate.
This was the very first game the kids got to go to, it was so nice that day!
