Fishing and Hiking

Day 2 of camping. We had our usual pancake breakfast, and then off to fishing. This year, the fish were biting like crazy. All of the kids got to reel in a fish and Trey even kissed one! Blake brought one home and we cooked it up for dinner. Later we did our hike to the falls and hung out by the fire. Peyton freaked out because she saw a snake. But this year will go down as the year nothing happened!

Willow Flatt Day One

We always look forward to camping. This year, we celebrated Kelsey's 4th Birthday at Big J's and while setting up camp. We always keep it simple, but it is such a great time. We love being up in the mountains and    being together as a family.

Just Chillin'

Blake really gets attached to Patrick when he is here. He loves to follow him around and do whatever Uncle Patrick is doing. Patrick came up with an Angry Birds game that the kids had the best time playing. We took a bunch of boxes and stacked them up. Then, we had to launch the birds over the balcony and see is who could get the boxes knocked down. This went on for days with different variations.

Hiking the Grotto

We took Uncle Patrick to one of our favorite hikes. It is in Payson canyon and  the kids think it is so great. We love it, because everyone can do it, and the water fall at the end is awesome. This was another fun thing we did with Uncle Patrick.

Bowling with Uncle PK

We have so much fun with Patrick when he comes into town. We took Uncle PK to J Dawgs in Provo and then to some intense bowling at BYU. I love how much fun we all have together. Trey kept hiding behind some of the video games and it was stressing Patrick out a little bit. We missed Daddy while he was in Maryland for work.

Camp Waza with Uncle PK

We were all very excited when Uncle PK decided to come to Utah and do a soccer camp. Peyton and Blake got to attend along with several kids from our community. He is a very fun coach and all the kids had a great time. Plus we got a whole week to hang out with Mom's favorite brother.

School carnival

Since this was our first year at Foot Hills Elementary, everything was new to us. Similarly to Spanish Oaks, this school does a carnival fundraiser. The kids had to so much fun doing all the activities. Peyton is really getting to know some great kids and liking her new school.
