Hard to Say Goodbye

The last few days before I leave Michigan are always hard for me. I really realize how much I miss my family and spending time with them and just being in Michigan is a lot of fun. Here are the last few things we did before coming back home to Utah! We miss you guys so much already. Thanks again for such a fun trip!!

We had to go to Krazy Jim's burger in Ann Arbor because they were featured on the Food Network for how great their burgers are. Well they got our approval. This will be a sure stop everytime we're in town!
Kennsington water park. I use to run and roller blade around this lake all the time!
My friend Jill's little boy Mason and Blake at her house. It was so great to finally see her new house and cute little guy!
Peyton and Lily having fun one last time. They were so cute together!!
Blake swinging at the big park

Big, Fun Park

Near the house in Michigan there is this huge wooden park that we went to a few times with the kids. I think my dad had just as much fun as the kids did!!

The ZOO

On Monday we went to the zoo. This was one of the the most fun days! The best was the chick that couldn't get the ice cream right, pushing Anna up the hill, some of us taking the wrong turn and going on a mile long nature walk, and feeding the giraffes!

Tigers vs The Orioles

On Sunday we went to the Tigers game. Kris was so excited because the Orioles were in town and my Dad got tickets right behind home plate. You could literally see the guys balls from where we were sitting! It was a great game. The Tigers fans weren't happy leaving, but Kris got the bragging rights for his team winning the series.

7 Great Years!

We celebrated our 7th Anniversary this Sunday. I wanted to post a picture from when we got married, but we didn't have a digital camera back then. (Did I just sound like one of the stories my Grandpa told us of walking to school, barefoot in the snow?) We had a fun weekend together. We feel so lucky to love each other more now, then we did back in the days of make out point!! I'm grateful to be married to my best friend and can't wait for the next 7 plus years.
