Peyton's late over

For Peyton's friend Birthday Party, she wanted to have a late over (where they wear PJ's and stay late, but don't sleep over). She has been talking about the agenda for weeks. She invited her cousins and a couple of her close friends. They had so much fun! It's so funny to watch them giggle and get excited about all the things we were doing.

First thing on the list: Pizza!
Peyton couldn't believe that most everyone wanted BBQ chicken Pizza over Cheese and Root beer over Sprite:)
Game 1: Pin the sunglasses on Barbie. Daddy taking a turn.
Daddy got quite dizzy so the kids had to push him in the right direction.

Game 2: Pass the Purse (like hot potato)
Cute kids
Next we made rag flip flops that turned out so cute, but I didn't take any pictures.
Present Time: Woobles from Emma
Tattoos, makeup and a puzzle from Ellie.
Purse full of necessities from Addie
Wipe board from Lucy and Brynn, they always know what Peyton wants!
Marlee got her a hula hoop that lights up, it's awesome!
When presents were done, we had red velvet cup cakes.
I love how Peyton is so specific with what she wants
All the girls and Blake watching Surf time Barbie, eating popcorn and do make overs.
Peyton's cousins got to spent the night and eat cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
This is this ends our marathon of February Birthday Parties!

Our Little Girl is Six

Our sweet, little Peyton turned six! She is so enthusiastic about life and so good at everything she tries. She is the best big sister and helper. We are so happy when she is around.
Peyton wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch so after school we went to the play area.
Peyton got an MP3 player and has to take it everywhere!
Later for dinner, Peyton chose to have black bean enchiladas. Then we had cake and ice cream with just our family. Peyton was ok with having left over cake from the other party!
Happy Birthday Diddy! You are our Sunshine!

Birthdays with the Kilpatrick Family

Blake and Peyton's Birthday was great as usual with the family. They are always so excited to play with their cousins. We celebrated on the Sunday that was in between both of their Birthdays.
Blakey's new Optimus Prime truck from Aunt Flur and Uncle Dave.
Cousin's got Peyton a new soft, fuzzy, blanket
Blakey got one too!
16 Wishes!!
Peyton got a salon for doll from Marlee.
They played beauty shop for most of the night. Papa TK really liked getting his hair done.

Peyton and Blake's Birthday cake

I decided this year to go all out for the kid's Birthday cakes, and treats. Peyton really wanted a Barbie cake, so we built her this cake that turned out so cute. But we couldn't leave Blake out of the family Birthday celebration, so we make a light saber out of a chocolate covered pretzel rod. They were both so happy.
This cake had four layers with mousse in between, so needless to say we had a ton of cake.

Almost 6 year old!

Peyton's Package from Michigan

Peyton was so excited to go to the mailbox and find a package for her in there from Papa Pat and Grandma Cary in Michigan. They always send the most fun stuff and good treats too. She could not wait to open it. Her Birthday celebration started 4 days before her birthday! But you only turn 6 once, so mine as well stretch it out!
A south Paw soft ball mitt! Now she doesn't have to take her glove off to throw the ball back when she is playing!
This girl loves PJ's and was so excited to find these and cute undies with bows on the front.
Trey thinks all the parties are for him. He carried this balloon around for days.
The other thing Trey always thinks is his, is food. When Peyton got these fishy in her package, he ran over yelling "Fishies" in his very high pitched voice he does...it's quite awesome.
Thank you Papa and Grandma! We love and miss you very much!

Blake's 4th Birthday

It's hard to believe our little Blakey turned four years old today. He is such a sweet, sensitive, goofy, and quite stubborn. Blake got to open some presents when he woke up. Then he was the special leader at school where he gave everyone their minion treats. After school he had a friend party and we went to Jumpin' Jacks. They were wore out when it was time to go. For Blake's Birthday dinner, he chose mini hamburgers and fries. Then we had an Oreo cake for dessert. It was a fun filled fourth Birthday!

He wanted cookies for his friend party, so we made huge M&M cookies.
I think we will be making those more often. They were so good!

Sweet Treats

I made apple cupcakes for all my kids teachers (school and church) for teacher appreciation week. I really am so thankful for all they do for my little kiddos. I fell so blessed to have such wonderful examples in their lives.
Blake had a hard time deciding what kind of Birthday party he wanted this year.So we got Star wars stuff for his friend party, and minions for his special, school treat.
