Gratitude

Sometimes, it's the simple things in life that bring me joy! As I watch these 3 cute kids grow up, I am grateful for who they are becoming. They are sweet and caring and actually like to be around each other. I am so impressed when I see Peyton put her arm around one of her hurt brothers. Blake loves to help Trey do big boy things, like get him on the top bunk or the top of the tree house (yes that makes me nervous!) Little Trey says thank you and loves to talk to Peyton and Blake. I am thankful for these three kids I have. I feel like the luckiest Mom in the world!

Kindergarten 50's Day

The Kindergarten is so fun! One day they had a 50's day. The kids got to dress up, learn dances and sip on root beer floats. Peyton didn't have a skirt, so I made her one and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. She is loving Kindergarten, her teacher, new friends and all the fun things she gets to do!

Trey's Little Cast

Trey was going down the slide with Peyton one night and got his little leg stuck under her. We took him in for x rays at instacare the next day because he wouldn't walk on it. No brake. After 5 days he was still not walking and was crying all the time. Kris took him in on a Sunday and had them x ray his whole leg..no break. After 10 days he was screaming...back in and no break. Finally after 2 weeks I took him to our pediatrician and they saw a small fracture that they said could heal on his own, but since he was in so much pain they put a cast on it. THANK YOU!! Our baby was finally walking and happy. After 2 weeks of having his cast on, he got it off. He's still not walking very well, but we'll have to wait and see.

Happy Halloween

It was a cold and rainy Halloween this year. We had a visit from Papa TK, Grandma Keet and Marlee, who wanted to see us all dressed up. Then we had pumpkin chicken pot pies. They were so Yummy. Just as we were getting ready to leave, a hail, wind, wild storm came through. After the crazy weather, the sun came out and there was a huge, beautiful, double rainbow. Grandma Ali and Pap Jim came with us trick or treating. We didn't go for long, but we got so much candy!

Halloween School Parades

It was so fun to watch Blake and Peyton walk in their parades at school in their Halloween costumes. Peyton decided to be a Detroit Cheerleader for her school party. She had the cutest little Detroit hair bows in her hair. She thought it was fun to go into some of her cousins and older friend's classes. Blake kept pulling out his lightsaber to fight the kids dressed up like Dark Vader.

Carving Pumpkins

We love to carve pumpkins at our house. Our tradition is to do it the Sunday or Tuesday before Halloween because I always have to work on Monday nights. We didn't get very many pictures because mom wasn't feeling well. It was fun to have the kids really in to it this year. Peyton had to keep the seeds to eat later. Blake thought it was gross! Trey kept sticking tooth picks all over his pumpkin.

For Blake's October field trip, he got to go to the Red Barn again! It was so fun to watch him on the hayride with all of his little friends. They ran all around the pumpkin patch and had fun climbing on the big pumpkin. He is having so much fun in pre- school!
