Our First Fishing Trip

We finally had a semi- sunny day and decided as promised to Peyton, to go fishing. She has been asking us everyday since Easter "Are we going Gold Fishing today?" So when we said yes, she ran to her bedroom got on her pink, cowgirl boots and was ready to go before mom got out of bed. We went up to the pond where we work, set up our chairs and cast out into the pond.

Katie got the first fish using a marshmello and the second one took the same bait. Kris got the Big Daddy Albino fish and the other one he fought for, finally broke the line. Meanwhile, Blake was emptying the tackle box and Peyton lost interest and started chasing the cats. We had a fun, pretty successful first time using our new fishing poles!
